AI readiness review

Find out in one week whether your team's AI use is putting protected data at risk.

Your staff are probably using AI already. I find out which tools, what data goes into them and whether your agreements cover it. You get a ranked list of fixes and a policy your team can adopt.

One week · from $5,500 CAD plus tax · your fixed price in writing before I start

What I look at

  • Which AI tools your staff use, approved or not, and for what work
  • What reaches them: patient, student or other personal information
  • What your agreements and the vendors' terms say about that data, and where it is stored
  • Sign-in, device and access controls around those tools
  • AI features inside your own product, if you have them

Checked against the privacy rules you work under, such as HIPAA, PIPEDA and provincial privacy laws including Québec's Law 25, or UK GDPR. Legal sign-off stays with your counsel.

What you get

  • A written report: what's in use, where data goes and what's covered
  • Fixes ranked by risk, with the effort each one takes
  • A staff AI-use policy, drafted for your team to review and adopt
  • A recommended setup: which AI assistant, under which agreement, and what it should connect to
  • A walkthrough of the findings with your leadership

What I need from you

  • View-only admin access to your AI tools, sign-in and device settings
  • Copies of your agreements with AI and cloud vendors
  • About 30 minutes each with three to five people who use AI most

No monitoring software, and no copies of protected data. The findings are confidential and go only to the people you name.

How the week runs

One week, start to finish

  1. 01

    Start

A kickoff call, then view-only access to what I need to see. I look at settings, sign-in records and agreements, not patient or student records.

  2. 02

    Review

Your tools, settings and agreements, plus short conversations with the people who use AI most.

  3. 03

    Write-up

Findings, ranked fixes and the policy draft, in plain language.

  4. 04

    Walkthrough

I take your leadership through it and answer questions. The report is yours to keep and act on.

After the review

Your team can carry out the fixes from the report. If you'd rather I did it, I set up the assistant under your agreements, connected to your tools and sign-in, as a fixed-scope project.

Tell me roughly how your team uses AI today and which rules you work under, then pick a time to talk it through. You'll get a fixed price in writing before anything starts.
